When we went to use the shower our first morning in the hotel, we found black mold & mildew on the soap hold & in the chalking around it (see pictures), when the pictures were taken to the front desk, I was told the manager would be contacting me the following day. At 4:30, I contacted the manager because I hadn’t heard from him. He assured me the issue was taken care of & he was going to double check & if in fact it wasn’t dealt with (or couldn’t be because it was mold) we would be notified & as per my request would be moved. When I used the mold he told me I couldn’t use that word until he had it tested & confirmed. Approx. 20minutes later he called me back saying he could assure me it was “100% clean”, but that he had noticed some cracks around the faucet & was having them caulked as we spoke. He said he had also had housekeeping up to re-clean the floors & such & leave extra clean towels. He had emailed the corporate office to see about some sort of compensation, & would get back to me when he heard from them. When we returned to our room, the ceramic finish & most of the caulking had been removed from the soap holder (see pictures) & the normal amount of towels were in the room. I had a shower that night & when I used one of the towels I got a long black hair on my arm...myself & me family are all blonde. (See picture). The final straw was when we returned to our room 2 nights later at around 10:30, to find the sink clogged & filled with dirty water. I called down to the front office & was told maintenance was being sent up...an hour later as we were still waiting for maintenance I went to go in the bathroom & the floor was covered in water. I called back down to the front desk & said that we were waiting on maintenance, but that now the floor was covered in water. The girl preceded to tell me maintenance was gone for the day, but that they would send them up first thing in the morning when we were awake! I had to demand to be moved! Pictures available!!!
