Has its excellent service and beautiful room in all its grandeur. Typical Raffles experience in a beautiful serene atmosphere where you will never hear the word no. Have stayed in both Raffles properties in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and both are similar yet distinctive in their own way. Champagne breakfast seven days a week included in the cost of the room? Yes please. Could spend the whole morning there eating and drinking as the food was wonderful and the service impeccable. Very large pool out back that could have used a bit more shade, but nice just the same. Location is very convenient to Angkor Wat, and is just a five minute drive to the ticket office. Also convenient to the night market and pub street, though not quite walking distance and I do suspect the average Raffles guest does not spend much time on pub street, judging by the advanced age of the majority of guests I saw there who appeared to be in town on high-end package tours. For this price point, you can't go wrong with either Raffles or the Park Hyatt, though I do find the Park Hyatt to be a bit more intimate due to it's smaller size and boutique hotel feel, though Raffles wins out in the breakfast category on account of the Champagne.
